Katzkin Decisions - Weighing Heavy On Me

I am having the worst time choosing here. I am trying to keep a classy look. I am torn between a Two-Tone Insert, Solid Color and Contrast Stiching, Full Face Two-Tone.

Colors i am toying with are Black, Maroon and Medium Red. I have toyed with the notion of a red interior but i think itll be too much red and itll get old for me The maroon i could probably tolerate since its very dark. Black is always classic. In any decision there will be contrast stiching.

Im thinking just black with the maroon stitching, keeping it simple and classy

I'd probably recommend that you get swatches of the colors you're thinking about so you can see the actual samples to make that decision with the $$ involved with doing that.

Often the color renderings on a monitor vs. the actual thing can be different as well as viewing in the ambient light of daytime/night in the actual car.

Interior

The red and black leather on my 2013 is what finally made me take the plunge and trade in my 2010. Best thing I ever did. I don't have any pics but I'm sure they must on the Dodge website. Google Image Result for http://www.dodge.com/images/vehicles/2013/challenger/rt-classic/interior/2013-challenger-rt-classic-int-1-2-red.jpg

I found that. Hope it helps. You may have to cut and paste it to your browser but its basically a cutaway view of the interior of my car.

I wouldn't do all black. Red stitch looks good. Red stitch with red inserts sounds like a winner. Perforated inserts sounds even better. Perforated red suede inserts is better still. As long as you match the stitch to the inserts it will look great. If stitch isn't available in maroon, then go red with everything. It makes the decision easier.

Once you pick a theme you're stuck with it, so you're right to take your time on this decision. A pure red is going to be easier to match than a maroon if you want to do other interior enhancements. Red LEDs are easier to find than maroon. Red piping is easier to find than maroon. Head unit's sometimes come in red lighting, but not maroon. I'm just throwing out some things. Red AND maroon isn't going to look awful, but you'll have 3 colors going inside.

i have a katzkin swatches book. it is very hard to picture what everything will look like on a big scale.

MADNUSA - i really like that look actually, thats pertty.

CudaCliff- I think the suede is so sleek and sexy i just worry about its longevity and how it will hold up in comparison to leather.

I am worried about the theme i pick because like you said, i am stuck with it. Black goes with everything and i know in the future i may not stick with the red stripes. I dont want a red interior to necessarily clash with an exterior stripe. Accent stitching is easier to pair with other things.
