So I noticed that the accessory catalog list a dual kicker 10" sub kit. The e MYGIG 13 speaker system includes kicker speakers with a sub woofer.
My question is it the same or is this upgrade to the factory mygig kicker system? If so and it is an upgrade, I notice the catalog list 2 woofers, is the factory only one sub, and if so where do these upgrade kits mount at?
Ah so this upgrade adds dual units. Heck hot setup would be if someone bought the upgrade duals, then tkae the original single unit out, and add it to another car.
Build box, wire correctly etc. But then i think the upgrade most likely has a larger amp included to huh?
The dual sub is an upgrade to the single sub in the 2008 Challengers. It replaces the factory installed single and goes in the trunk up against the rear seat back. It has 2 plugs on the backside and a mounting bracket that allows quick removal should you need the extra space. The dual sub has (2) 200 watt amps built into the unit. We have one of these listed on ebay that has some minor speaker grille dents that could be purchased at a real bargain.

OK and when this is added does it replace or add to the single unit? And where and how does the single unit mount in the car? Sorry for the dubm ??s but I have not seem them yet.
The dual sub replaces the single sub. The dual sub mounts up against the back seat where the single sub mounts tucked in the LH rear quarter panel. No dumb questions here, we are here to help.
Here are some images, not of Challenger installs, but the same subs that the Challenger uses.

The single subs, do they make them for the other side to just add on.
i dont see this set up a too much of an upgrade. Is it only 400 watts? For that price or a little bit more you can get a great 12 inch or even maybe two ten inches putting out about a thousand watts, and probably even get a box/installation. I was looking into a 10 or 12 inch kicker l7 which would add a whole lot more power. Granted it probably wont hook up the same way, but it really isnt too tough. You can find an amp to support it relatively cheap too.
