IPOD connection works with lockpick

Update....I installed the factory ipod interface cable and it works perfectly, i ended up routing the cable into the armrest compartment if you remove the 12V plug the cable goes right through and the factory provided rubber grommet fits perfectly.

Nice. Good info for those contemplating the lockpick

I wanted to get the lockpick so my daughter could watch a dvd, but its pricey. I could buy a protable DVD player for just over $100.00

if you are considering lockpick, take a look at Nav to go. Same features, no splicing, so you can remove it easier, if you even need to!

What splicing is required with Lockpick?
None that I know of.

I Have not purchased either. My salesman at the dealer has a Nav 2 go in his charger, and said that the mechanic hooked it up in minutes and that there was no splicing like the other system.

No splicing on Lockpick - easy plug and play install.

Here's a link to a LockPick install "How To" thread (thanks to MOONDOGNYC)

Cool, he was wrong. Your post on the lock pic was a great help. I will have to look into the lock pic further before I buy!
