Rear Deck Removal

Anyone remove the rear deck? I want to cover it with a different material and wanted to know whats involved.

Here is the post I used to access mine for a speaker swap. It is a pain in the butt but can be done.

That post will really help you understand what it takes to remove the rear shelf. What are you going to recover it with? How will you allow for the rear speaker performance? Are you planning to have the speakers exposed with the grills above the material? Make sure you provide pictures when completed. Sounds like a cool idea.
