I'll be sure to order from you guys as soon as the tune is out and bug-free as I decided against the B&G option and prefer yours... but my R/T happens to be a 2013.

Thank you (unless you were being sarcastic!). Don't wanna get too political here because it has nothing to do with parties, but it's very naive to think that governments are there to help and protect you, especially against others, and that the reason for laws is to do just that. The
rationale for passing them may be to save the children, your tax dollars, or the whales, but in reality it's kickback time for the corporations pulling the strings of the puppets we think are in charge, and enforcement is a way to fleece the population and keep it in line. That's the way it's ever been, fellow peasants. Even people who are part of the system tend to buy that BS. In fact, the lower on the totem pole they are, the more they believe that they are protecting you... in good part because they're not smart enough to see the glaring contradictions. Sounds a lot like destroying the village to save it, at times.
There's way too many people on soapboxes bent on telling folks how to live their lives and justifying it with their safety or their pocketbook while never looking hard at their own selves.
The OP did
not have to explain why he needed to change a setting that even the factory recognizes can be annoying and/or pointless. Some of us, regardless of occupation (yes, mine makes me pop that belt at times for my own safety, and you bet that it's more important to me then than a potential ticket or some guy's thought that I may end up burdening his socialist safety net one day) may not want or need reminders that sound like we won a lottery. We are becoming a decadent society whose people refuse any type of personal responsibility or to think for themselves. We're asking manufacturers to have the car park itself now, for crying out loud.
The reason why people
seem to assume sometimes, 6point4, is that there is a history that you may not be aware of. You piled on, but it's SuBXeRo's posts that were getting on my nerves. When he wrecked his car he came here to urge people to keep their traction control on. Now he's saying that you wear your seatbelt or you die. It sounded to me then, as it does now, like those guys who catch the clap at the whorehouse and then rush to church to scare people into not having sex out of wedlock.
Anyone seen The Vanishing Point? Why did some of you buy a Challenger? It's a throwback to an era of (aspiration for) pure freedom, probably one of the last hurrahs of the individualistic power trip that muscle cars can be. It's not for the sheeple even if Dodge made the modern version as sanitized as possible for the times (oh, they know who we are). Toyota really needs to make a Prius that looks cool because I think that some got the wrong car here. It tells you that fast food is is bad for you as soon as you enter the drive-thru, I'm told.
Sorry, Roadwarrior65, I feel I have sabotaged your thread. I mean, made it worse than those who always refuse to answer the question (it keeps coming up, with the same results, do a search and check it out) and prefer to preach, blindly.
