Just got my challenger yesterday. dealer offered extra protection for the paint and the interior. price was $999 but he would do it for me for $699 says its covered for life and would be reapplied every 5 years, and I will never have to wax my car again. got my car from jack phelan dodge in countryside Illinois. they were awesome !! I know all dealers do this, they did not try to shove it down my throat. told me to think about it and let them know. I have a feeling I gonna find out I can get it done much cheaper somewhere else. any feedback would be great !!!!!

If you want to give someone a good laugh today, call up any reputable body/paint shop and tell them the dealer said you'll never have to wax your car again.

That long. Think about it how long do people keep cars these days. By the time it's paid off or right after its paid off people go. Uh a new for a feel good experience
Biggest dealer rip-off around. Save your money and but a quality wax and a detail spray for the exterior and a couple of cans of Scotch Guard for the interior (if you feel that it is necessary).
I think that everyone above said it loud and clear. IMO all of the dealer extra protection items are a waste of money...paint, undercoating, scotchguard interior. It's funny how the price is always "X" and we've got a "special" deal at price "Y". If you are going to buy and keep the car long term, thing about an extended warranty on the mechanical parts otherwise move on from everything else.
