Egged...

It's been nearly a year and a half streak since getting my 2011 and not being egged.. Until last night.

Got home around 11pm and parked her in the driveway as usual. I had to go back out around 2am to pick someone up. To my surprise I find BOTH sides of my car (only) pelted with eggs. By this time it had congealed and become waxy. While scrubbing it off at 2am with a bucket of hot soapy water I notice on the passengers side that there is paint gouged out down to the sheet metal from the one egg smacking the door. Panic mode is now really setting in.. then I notice paint loss on the passenger side mirror as well. Great.

I was the ONLY vehicle that was egged in the entire effin neighbourhood so it makes me think I was targeted- and my gut is saying it's our retarded neighbour next door....

Even my brother's car parked directly beside me wasn't hit.

One egg smacked the drivers side window and got all up in the seal... and it effin stinks! I keep trying to get it all out but I can still smell it..

I'm livid. Seriously people still ****ing do this?

Security cameras are going up this week.. enough of this crap. I'm disgusted I even have to do this....

Sigh.. And to top it all off, I had spent 2 hours waxing her yesterday... :'(

Try using straight vinegar on a rag to get the wonderful aroma out of the window seal. Sorry to hear this, especially sad to hear that an egg can carve through the paint and primer on these.

That really sucks! Some people have no class. Sounds like you were targeted if both sides got direct hits. A couple of months ago I found a broken egg in my driveway that looked like it just missed my car. I'm pretty sure it was a random drive by.

I have used the Dr. Color Chip products on a couple of cars with good results. It is not the least expensive and I'm sure there are other good products but I was happy with the results.

Hope it all comes out ok.

Scott

Is that your "pet name" for him?

Anyway, I'm waiting to see the post, "my 'ex-retarded neighbor'..." LOL!

I actually ordered that dr color chip kit today. We'll see how it goes..anything is better than nothing. Looks like the door should just be repainted but I'll try the cheaper alternative first..

So damn frustrating. I'm so paranoid about it out in the driveway right now... what if they come back before I get the camera system set up? I am almost tempted to sleep in the car tonight! Freezing or not

Just sooo mad....and sick about it.

haha he's seriously a twisted person.. Does and says the weirdest **** and has 2 hour long imaginary phone call conversations outside his house regularly. I am looking forward to posting surveillance footage of him doing his typical retarded things..

One time I confronted him about the coors light beer bottle lids he was throwing over the fence onto our roof/eavestrough.. He proceeded to tell me he "Doesn't drink" and we always have our leaves blowing onto his side of the lawn ...... :|

(Rewind a few days earlier he was carrying in 3 24's of coors light bottles.... i mean we even see the idiot drinking them all the time)...

CRAZY.
