No. 7 makes bug and tar remover.....it cmes in a thin white bottle and it works well. You may need to look a little bit to find it, but put a little on a small cloth, a little elbow grease to the area and thats it.

Re: Removing tree sap?
I had tree sap on my car early in the summer.
Bug and Tar remover did not work. So I decided to get on board with what I had heard about clay bars. Car Bars work great! Soften up the clay, spray on the detailer, and rub back and forth firmly. It will get the tree sap off... it make take a bit of work, but you'll get it. Bugs and tar also come of MUCH easier with the clay bar than the Bug and Tar sprays you can buy. |

Re: Removing tree sap?
The alcohol breaks down the chemicals in sap/bird crap. Whichever way you go you need to make sure you give it a good washing with soap and water after using any chemical regardless of what it is because these chemicals can and will begin breaking down your clear coat over time.
