hello, not sure if this is the correct thread or not but here goes nothing >_<

i have been in the market for cars for a while and love the SRT8. and i am currently in the middle of two deals.

the first car is 09 SRT8 with 45000 miles for the price of $30999. and have brought it down to $25999. no more warranty so i would have to pay an additional $2000 for it. it has brand new tires and brakes and seems to run good.

now the other car that has me really thinking is the 09 SRT8 with 15000 miles on it for the price of $32500.

they are both black with carbon fiber stripe. but i am only looking for a car that will not give me huge problems as soon as i buy it because i am going to the university next year and i have seperate money for that alone.

any help on deciding or tips would be greatly apreciated.

You can probably do better on price, I bought a fully loaded 2010 SRT8 with 7,2000 miles on it 3 months ago for $32,000 from the Dodge dealer that sold it to the original owner. (1 adult owner garage kept, was in show room condition when I bought it). I spent a couple of weeks shopping online, 2 sites that I found very helpful in the search were autotempest and cargurus.

I agree you can do better on price, I would personally go for the lower mileage car. I bought my 09 SRT8 all blacked out with CAI, mopar exhaust,headers for 33.5k with 17k miles last year and it was certified pre owned. Im sure you could talk down the lower mileage car for a better price. Good Luck

you guys were right about the car price. and i ended up only bringing down the price 2.5k down from original price. and ended up paying 36k after taxes and fees. i did put 3k down. and i seemed happy with it. i just feel like i could have done better but oh well. its done and done. i am paying less than 500 a month which is better than my original budget of 550 a month. lets hope insurance is not too much now =[

thank you ^^ and yes i am indeed happy. the whole drive that was an hour long i was pretty nervous like if i just got married. never have i had such a big commitment until now.lmao. (not even girlfriends) lmao. but today when i went to eat breakfast with friends , as soon as i stepped on the freeway, i was laughing and smiling my butt off the whole way there.lmao. it was heaven for the first few seconds in the freeway.

i will post many pics this weekend ^_^ so you guys can tell me what i have or stuff. i am a newbie
