1/4 mile times

What are the approximate quarter mile times for each trim level of the challenger.

Looks like modern muscle magazines have some crummy drivers.

That's more of what I was thinking. Who the heck do they get to test these cars?

All auto trannys.
Saw they have the rt rated at 14.1 in the quarter. Seemed a little slow.
They also had the 392 rated at 13.7. Seemed extremely slow.
They also had the v6 at around 16 if I remember correctly. Never driven one but it seemed slow as well.

The 6spds are about 1/2 second slower for each, track prep, temp, tire condtion all have a big influence and of course the driver is the biggest influence. Remember you just saw SRT8tech's best times not average times. Those are very good best times.

There is going to be a great deal of variation depending on tract conditions, elevation and driver skill. But like Dadstoy said a good place to start is in the track time section.

2014 SRT Core - 12.285 @ 112.50 mph
2010 R/T - PB 12.87 Traded

I know my car runs 10's because I once beat a guy who said his car runs 11's.

I got my 6m 12 R/T to go 13.43, once. Mostly 13.6 all stock.

I will say that the air temp makes a big difference on these cars.
