2008 Challenger to appear at 2007 Auto Shows

Somewhere around 34 weeks ago we all saw the Challenger concept for the first time. In about 14 weeks the 2007 auto show season will start with manufacturers showing off their 2008 models. Since the Challenger is officially a "go", will Dodge have a production version ready for the show season? I hope this topic gets the fire blazing in our hearts again. Things have kinda eased up a bit on info. and such. Any opinions or info.? Fire away!!!!

I have wondered the same thing. Maybe by New York? Does anyone remember how it went for the 300C?

I'll be at the 2006 SEMA show, and I'm trying to get a spot for the 2007 NAIAS as well as New York 2007... oh, and Washington, but that'll just be because my buddies will want to goto that.

I predict a higher performance model in a form of some type of srt-8 version that I hope will have at least 500+hp to compete as the upper end model with a big,mean,nasty,hood scoop on it!!!

why not? There's nothing wrong with it.. I just had a 300 and charger SRT on the track at VIR on friday.. they handle great

I didnt say dat the 300c platform is bad but da 300c platform is actually da previous generation of the mercedes Eclass platfrom.
N i wont love da idea dat a classic muscle car is gonna be built over a german luxury chassis..

My goal is to be at NAIAS this year. So, we'll see what happens. I haven't heard much else super exciting out of the Dodge camp, so I imagine most of the hype will still be around this vehicle. Hopefully it is a production vehicle, or at least an SRT-8 concept (or SRT-10? Lots of folks drop the Viper engine into classic Challengers...).

Guess we'll have to wait and see.
