Re: 2009 Challenger press release and images

I see that Hemi Orange isn't an option on the SRT8, but what about the R/T?

"New colors for the 2009 version of the Challenger SRT8 are classic B5 Blue (late availability) and TorRed — in addition to Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat and Bright Silver Metallic."

its under the Interior and Features... underneath the picture of the silver SRT8

I want to know what colors are offered for the R/T and they better allow me to get racing stripes put on that thing or I will be busting some heads.

Re: 2009 Challenger press release and images

I was hoping to see the 392 SRT... can somebody tell me when it's gonna be offered???
I have the urge to buy a Challenger with an option more powerful than 425hp or a Camaro SS.... The latter was delayed till '10 (I can't wait till that time) and there's an alternative solution for the former if I can't buy a 392 Challenger within '09, buying the Mr. Norm SUPER CHALLENGER...

Re: 2009 Challenger press release and images

It's a great looking car but it's much too close to the SRT8, in fact it's almost a dead ringer for it.

If I was an SRT8 buyer I'd be a little miffed the lesser model had my hood, spoilers and other cosmetics.

I hope Chrysler better differentiates the models in the future and that some Charger Daytona-style stripes and packages are offered. The car looks a little blank and needs to be dressed up.

I'm with you on this one , and Trishield .... bland bland bland no stripings , very limited colors (3 according to Dodge.com) , same freakin hood (which I like , but where are the others we've known to exist ?) , maybe no Hemi Orange ..... where are all the High Impact colors !!!??? You wanna take out Hemi Orange !? Then put in Go Mango , or other impact colors for freakin' sake !! Heck even the 6spd R/T will be running on Premium - Dodge you're putting yourself one finger in the eye and the other in your butt !!! Wake up !!! (Rant off)

Re: 2009 Challenger press release and images

Yeah, I want some striping.

I was surprised about the Premium requirement for the manual R/T.
Its making me rethink about ordering the manual and going to the Autostick.
Are they retarded over there? Do they not realize that gas is already at $4 in some places?
I mean, JEEZ!
