I did speak to him just an hour or so ago and he's also considering a personal delivery thru his dealership and not an outside transport company!I cant wait to see that enclosed trailer pull up at my home this fall.

This in my opinion is very smart business this in a day and age you cant get a person to evernt talk to you let alone keep you in the loop.
He's making it so easy and painless how can we not give this guy our business he had proven to me from day one he is the go to guy here.
If Bob doesn't have a case of single malt scotch accumulated in his office by Xmas from all us guys who he helped something is wrong.
I know he will get a bottle from me that is for-sure,and maybe some Cubans as well!
Now this is admittedly a dumb question (probably). Say someone out of state were to order from this guy. Take me, for example. I live in New Jersey near NYC. How would warranty stuff work if I bought the car from some guy that far away? I know the stuff about factory warranty and all that, but many people say that if you don't buy it from the local dealer then you might be up the creek. What are your thoughts on that?

It shouldn't matter. Dealers are supposed to work on them regardless of where they are bought. But some dealers can be a** holes and make you wait longer to get repairs. Where I work we work on anybodies car, it doesn't matter where it was bought.

Re: 2009 SRT8 no orange

yea. its a dodge, so ANY dodge dealer has to honor the warranty work. Ive bought two cars out of state, and i have taken them both to my local dealer each time. No questions asked. They get paid just the same, so its good for them.

It matters not where you buy the car buddy they have to service it at any Dodge dealership you take it to.So there is no issue at all buying out of state what so ever!

Ditto that. I even started my own petition thread on this same topic a while back when I found out about it. http://www.challengertalk.com/forums/f5/petition-hemi-orange-option-09-srt-1524/
I was in shock that it would not be offered. I can say that I am excited again now as I was not looking forward to 'settling' for a different color!
