No cameras. Sensors are mounted on the rear bumper and provide audible alerts and flashing LED alerts, here is an example on the Jeep GC:

And the Jeep system explained: Jeep Grand Cherokee WK - Rear Back-up Assist

Nice info but what nothing in the way of a supercharger or any kind of bump in horsepower for 2013? I was really hoping to see something new in the power department for 2013!! Especially with the new Zl1 and new 650 hp shelby making their debuts. I have been watching the net furiously ever since I read rumours of a factory supercharged Challenger months ago. I still want a Challenger. And horsepower does not make it or break it for me. But it sure would be nice to see Dodge keep the Challenger close to the top in power compared to the best Camaro and Mustang. So is there maybe a surprise coming very soon for some kind of new power for the Challenger? Or a special edition Challenger with new powertrain options?

A "Radar Red" special edition?

Is anyone familiar with the program Dodge has with the deployed military? When I was in Iraq in 2010 we had the opportunity to special order any CJD car with bargain pricing, and we were guaranteed to get what we asked for. Do you know if we can land a special edition that way too?

Btw, are we talkin' a MY2013'special edition?

Thanks for all you do!

The paint code for Jazz Blue Pearl Coat is "PBX". I do not have a swatch so no idea what it looks like. When Googled, one result brings up a "Steel Blue" for Chrysler 2000 model year - but my 2000-up Chrysler paint books do not list a "PBX" so I assume it is a brand new color variant.

the stats on the Media Center Harddrives say 30Gb...MY2012 has 40Gb, right?

Did they get smaller HD's? or is your post showing "available" HD?

And...thanks SOOO much for the info you always provide!

Sounds like 2013 is mostly a continuation year. I suppose that's good for the 2012 buyers that they don't get annoyed. Those who decided to wait, might as well hunt for a 2012 on the lots that is close to what they want, and take the end of year incentives. Unless you REALLY want the backup sensor... :icon_aetsch:

#23 ·
Mmmm backup sensor... plastic plugs in my bumper... not enticing.

Don't see anything about Rallye Redline, notably color availability since Tungsten is now a goner. Guess the return of Billet fills that void? I know there are a few of us that ordered Tungsten Rallye's here, guess they will be fairly rare considering the short window we had to order and now the color being dropped for 2013. So glad I pulled the trigger!

Thanks RS for the info on the SC 6.2 !! Hope it happens soon!! I sure was wanting a supercharged BSP Challenger this year!! But in my opinion the 6.4 is no slouch. And also in my opinion the Challenger is the best all around car for me so even if the SC 6.2 doesn't come soon I will settle for a 2013 BSP SRT8!!!

I am partial amazed at this too, with the new Dart, the Charger, Avenger, Caravan and I think Durago are all runing LEDs, hard to believe the Challenger will be the only Dodge without.

When you look at the Dart and Charger's dash, the Challenger becomes retro in more ways than just one...

#37 ·
Yeah 2013! Wait, not much excitement. I am glad to have the info.
