All that being said you can save yourself a pile of money by waiting a little longer and buying a 2012. There won't be that many changes and if you can live with the available colors. I bought my 2011 GWE on New Years Eve 30 minutes before the dealership closed and got $10,000 off sticker. Funny thing is I went there to inquire about ordering a 2012. Now I'm 10 grand ahead of the game. Just my two cents.

If there is a 2012 RT out there with:

Auto
Leather
730 Nav
HID's
Exterior Appearance
Interior Appearance
Super Track Pack
Anti Spin Rear
Harmon Kardon sound
20" Chrome rims

I'LL BUY IT!

There's not, and HASN'T BEEN FOR MONTHS, thats why I ordered a 2013!
Would LOVE to save $$ on a 2012 IF this car exists!

They're not in Philly, but I know of several cars that fit neatly into your option "wishlist." Telegraph Chrysler/Dodge in suburban Detroit has two 2012 R/T Classics that are "loaded" -and- heavily discounted + current applicable incentives. Every option you require, and more, are available on these beauties. Go a local dealer in PA and see if he's willing to arrange a purchase/dealer trade on your behalf. If he can "squeeze a buck" out of the deal, I'm sure he'll oblige.

If you have a cashiers check "in hand" and want to fly to DTW (Detroit Metro,) I'm betting that Telegraph Chrysler/Dodge (who are located only a few miles from the airport, would "bend over backwards" in offering to pick you up, write up the deal, and let you put 500 or 600 miles on your new car on your return home.

Here's a link to their inventory. Note the top 2 R/Ts on the page......

Good Luck, and............

Best regards,

Hey Gary, thanks man, I checked them out but none of them have the Exterior Appearance Group.
That is like top priority!!!
Certainly appreciate your efforts trying to help me save some $$

Color samples

Did anybody check out the Chrysler color samples on allpar? Still bothers me they have jazz blue for the challenger which, according to my eyes/monitor, is even darker than the true blue pearl. If someone wanted that dark of a color they might as well get black!

Why couldn't they just stick with the previous blues?:SM127:

+1 I'm bummed that BSP is no longer available. I may be in a position to buy in mid September but all the BSP SRT8's on autotrader, eBay and dealer stock I've been able to find all have sunroofs. I can't have one with a sunroof as I need the headroom.

What is this Blacktop option?!

Rs according to cargroove.com the manual transmission seems to be standard and the auto is a 2000 dollar option is this right on the build and price the last number of years it was opposite. Just to add I am Canadian if that makes any difference

I can't attest to their accuracy concerning prices or anything else. Only a dealer can do that.

Yes, what is this black-top option... is it supposed to be a painted Roof?
Its funny that they mention a lot of things for Charger on there, and not many for challenger, such as the 8 speed tranny. Also have the daytona edition as well as the super bee which is cool... Look forward to seeing those out on the road.

#464 ·
I also noticed from the Autobytel link the absence of Sublime paint option. At least the other high impact colors are confirmed. Thanks RS.

#466 ·
The website listed a few pages back has an option for Fleet Pricing, any one ever managed to get that price?

#472 ·
Anyone have a 2013 in the VOTS that is at or past the "Frame" stage?

I ordered mine in early July, it's currently listed as "Production Scheduled", but there's no date or anything like that. I know production supposedly started on Monday... I'm curious (anxious) to see how things are moving along.

Can't wait for my new Challenger!

#482 ·
On the VOTS, I'm also still listed at "Production Scheduled", (ordered June 5) but the latest POC from the dealer has a Shipment Date of Aug 9.

Could just be the VOTS isn't updated at the current rate of your car's build..

We'll see.. I'll post up when the dealer notifys me with an update on my car.

Is there an update on the offered colors??

Hey ResumeSpeed,

Thanks for all of the great info! I am looking for a daily driver replacement, and after reading this thread I took a SXT out for a test drive. I love the car. I am looking at a number of different cars, but if Plum Crazy Purple comes out in the SXT it looks like that will seal the deal.

Now for the question. What is the probability that PCP will be available as an option for the 2013 SXT Challenger?

Thanks in advance,

Ryan

Unlikely. Most of the high impact colors were reserved for the R/T or SRT, but it's a very slim possibility at this point.

:argue::flame::soapbox::banger::deadhorse::boohoo::yikes::smiley35::hitit::confused::banana:
Sublime would make an awesome colr, but i don't think dodge has the ballz for it anymore. your basic colors would be perfectly at home on a minivan,, have you seen the color choices for *all* the Rustangs? huge, including the high impact colors on all models, Dodge with it's boring azz cra9. Or mortage the house to get a decent color- puke!.

Just say'in.................

Here is a link from another post on another thread:
A 2013 is not on my priority list, as I've only had my 2012 R/T Plus for less than two months. That link (and accompanying "change list") however, was very interesting. One thing I did note was that it seems Chrysler is either going to "tune" or simply market the Pentastar with 300HP. I always thought that rating would be a "natural" anyway. A 300 with a 300HP engine....brings some significance back to the car's numerical moniker.

On the Challenger side...........seems that a lot of "Plum Crazy" Challenger fans will, in fact, go "plum crazy," when they learn that that color will be available if their patient enought to wait until early next year to acquire one. I'm not a fan of the so-called "impact colors," except as they might be candidates for additional desirabily among collectors in years to come.

In closing.thanks for sharing that information. It made for an interesting read. Am also glad to see that my 2012 will not be superceded by anything that I can't live without :indifferent:

Regards,

Gary aka "beamg5"

Was just looking for a place to compare Jazz Blue to Blue Streak and came across this website: Performance Chevrolet Carolina Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram New & Used Cars

Seems like even the little model avatars they have for the SXT have the SRT8 front lip that goes all the way around to the wheel wells.

I don't know if this is any different from what they looked like in 2012, but it's wishful thinking on my part that the nicer SRT spoiler could trickle down to the RT and SXT.
