2013 r/t ....

Just came from dealership and was inquiring about a 2012 leftover R/T(blue or blackberry are only colors i was interested in). They couldn't find any I was interested in: one had the exterior appearance group that I didnt care for the hood scoop; it looked to be to high on the hood almost to cause a distraction. But I have a few questions that maybe some people can help me with:
1. How come no dealers have 2013 brochures?
2. How come the stock radio on the charger is nicer than the stock radio in the challenger?
3. Why does charger have $1500 v8 rebate and challenger has $1000 v8 rebate?
4. If I order a R/T plus can i get spoiler delete and stripe delete? I really want the car to be basic.
5. The car I want to order is a 2013 R/T plus in jazz blue with automatic, and sunroof...thats it...i dont want 20 inch wheels but dealer is saying it must have 20 in. wheels. So my question is if the list is 35,900..what should i pay. Please just give me an idea I have been going crazy with invoices and i am getting a bit confused...
Thanks in advance. BE SAFE. MERRY CHRISTMAS.

You're still shopping after 11 months?! OK, you don't indicate your area so it's hard to answer specific market questions, but the colors you want may be hard to find as leftovers.
The Charger is a different model that sells in larger volumes and gets more goodies and, apparently, better incentives at times (not always). If you want a better equipped car, get a Charger or a 300: the Challenger is the sporty coupe of the bunch.
Yes, you can order without stripes or spoiler, and if you are dead set on colors outside of black, silver, white, or granite, you may have to.
That 20" rim deal... Again, if you order you can get the 18" ones without a problem; they're not bundled with the sunroof. Now if you buy from a lot, you'll have to get what's on the car. If you insisted, however, and the dealer was interested in your business, I'm pretty sure that you could convince him to swap the rims for some from on another car on the lot. Most people want the bigger rims, not the other way around, so it shouldn't be too hard.
The 2013 brochures... Dodge's marketing and advertising gets ragged on all the time here. You're better off monitoring this website for current intel (and no offense, but I don't think you've done that enough in a year).

Hope that helped some.

I bought my 2013 Challenger R/T yesterday and got a $2000 rebate. There was $1000 on the SXT's. I'm in Alabama though.

I can help price wise based on my recent experience within the last week. I ordered an R/T plus, sticker was 35680, I agreed at 31995 after the $1000 rebate. Invoice was 338xx dealer cost was 32300, so pretty much I paid dealer cost + 600. (dealer sees rebate as a down payment of sorts)

This is Dodge you're talking about. There are people on these threads who requested 2013 brochures months ago, who are just now being mailed 2012 brochures.

with the options your trying to get, i'll bet a ordered unit will be most likely the only way you will find it, sunroof always include more options your obviously not looking for
to find that unit on a dealer lot will be hard

I've also been looking at the R/T Plus. you don't seem to get stripes unless you order it that way or they have them on the lot. the 18" wheels seem to be standard unless you add the Super Track Pac, then you have to get the 20" Chrome Clads. different regions get different offers, we've currently got $1500 V8 +$1000 =$2500 going on on 13's right now here in Texas, $3000 total for any 12's left over. sounds like you could order a 13' the way you want, no problem.

I want the Plus also but because of the color I want I might have to move up to the Classic, then I have stripes and wheels I don't want ... and that will cost me almost $500 for the privilege... but hey if that's what I got to do to get the color I want..that's cool.

I just picked up my '13 a week or so ago. Stripeless, moonroof, flappy paddles and plenty of other interior goodies, etc, with the 18s on it. It was on a lot 45 miles away and was gotten for me in a dealer trade. The options you're looking for are out there but, once you pigeonhole yourself to a color, it's gonna be tough. Fortunately, mine was actually in my color
Cheers, Lee S.
