Hi, first time posting and was wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I have a 2014 R/T Plus 100th Anniversary Edition and took it to a tire store that a buddy runs for an oil change and tire rotation, has about 12,000 miles on it. He calls and asked if I ever had anything done with the wheels and tires, I said no, hadn't been touched since I pulled out of the dealership. He said all my tires were mounted backwards and none of them had ANY weights on them!!! My car has the "Super Track Pak" with Goodyear 245/45ZR20 asymetrical tires, clearly marked "mount to inside or outside" on them. Has anybody else had this happen?
Was the car purchased new or pre-owned?
If it was new, I doubt it came that way, so I would question the shop. If it was pre-owned, the previous owner might've taken it to a shady shop, but I think you would've felt it while driving.
It is totally possible that your wheels and tires were swapped out at the dealership before delivery. It is also quite possible that the "technician" that did the swap could care less about your tire placement.
