There is a full thread on the new Barracuda.

Dodge to Resurrect Plymouth Barracuda

It will not be a retro model (although it will have some retro styling cues) and will be smaller and lighter than the Challenger. The SRT version will have the new 6.2 supercharged Hemi making 540 hp.

This new power-to-weight ratio should be enough to spank the Stangs and Camaros.

I'm trying to find the post where I made this statement a year ago & most people responded that I didn't know what I was talking about.

P.S. In the same post, I also mentioned that the run would end in 2014.

I agree with you. This fact was known as far back as 2009 that 2014 would be the last year for the current Challenger.

For that reason, I'll post this photo make make his day...LOL !!!

Everyone - hold on to your challengers. It will go down in history as one of the top five muscle cars ever.

One thing that I ma a bit confused on - if the new cuda is going to put out that much hp - what is it gonna look like? It has to look aggressive - no?
I just wish they made it look 95% of the cuda - probably one of the nicest muscle cars of all time.
