Mine's an M6 so Barton shifter based on the sluggish throws of the factory shifter. That and 275 tires all around are all I'm doing.
Catch can on my 2011 SS never caught much oil. Daily driver, no track use. So I'm not convinced this is a must have. Skip shift plug not necessary if you know how to goose it or fake to 4th then back to second.
Can you elaborate? I had a 95 Vette that forced you to shift from 1st to 4th at low speed (or something like that) and there was a similar eliminator to override that but I'm not seeing/feeling any forced shifting with the Challenger. What am I missing here?
For all I know the dealer may have installed the eliminator. They also installed a Magnaflow cataback and 22" wheels before I purchased the car.
New to the forum, new to the Challenger. (I still have under 300 miles on her). I have seen a few things about the skip shift eliminator now; is this something I should invest in? I plan on highway and beach driving only. The exact conditions for it to kick in (from what I understand) won't really be met on a daily basis, but the ones I've found are tops $25. Only thing I have got for her so far is get the Z Auto TaZer. Ideas on this? Thanks!

IMO absolutely get the skip shift eliminator. It may only get you once in awhile but as others have said its annoying as hell when it does. Definitely worth the $25. Also I would say splash guards are a top choice to help cut down on slinging road junk on the lower body panels.
Probably already been mention but imho for safety sake the Driver Convenience package is a must have to help with the good sized blind spots of the Challenger. Everything else is a nice to have.
I really wanted this on my car due to the blind spots, but after about 3-400mi on the car, ive found that with its power, I typically am in front of most other vehicles and I don't let people drive up into blind spots without taking notice. Over time I might get lazy about that and will change my mind, but for now I'm not as weary.
I like techie stuff and safety, so went with tech group and driver convenience package. 8.4Nav for me was a must have.
I did not pay to upgrade the stereo; went with what it came with. It sounds pretty good for a standard system IMO. If you're buying a Scat Pack I doubt you care much about thumping bass The motor is your music...
