General Challenger DiscussionThis section contains general discussion about the Dodge Challenger. If it does not fit into a more specific area, it probably belongs in here. (Dodge Challenger General Discussion)
eng943 you are on the right track. "Classic" or MB Old School would set that color combo off. Just my opinion, but the Envy wheels hold the pop factor back a bit. Even the Old School in gunmetal would look great. Chrome would be first choice though me thinks. The envy just isn't right for that Challenger.
There I go getting all critical thinking. Dude, it's your baby and you know what she needs.

I own a SRT and was considering selling it to buy a 13 GT 500 but talked myself out of it.but now thinking about buying a Boss Mustang as my track car and using the SRT as my cruiser/car show machine.
This is the final year for Boss 302 production, so if you want one get one. It'll be gone for another 5 or so years, and when it comes back (like the Challenger, Camaro, and GT mustang) it will be European styled.
I have to say, being a longtime Ford fan/owner (with possible bias): I was standing on a street corner downtown and heard someone get on the throttle, thought to myself, "that sounds nice!" turned to look, and saw a Challenger R/T going not nearly as fast as that sound and those RPMs would have me believe.
Then again, hand washing it on a lovely Saturday morning would be sheer bliss.
If anyone is still comparing the Challenger to a Boss 302, don't bother: If you have the funds, buy the Boss immediately.

There is no comparison. The boss is a one trick pony good for the track and carrying one passenger. You be better off buying a used fox bodied Mustang for $10,000 that can run 10's. The Challenger is a better all around car that actually rides awesome, seats 4 adults for real and simply blows the boss outta the water in the looks dept. Again, no comparison.

So, the Envy wheels are only Envy wheels for 2011. In 2012 they became "Classic" wheels with the polished 5-spokes being "Heritage."
Both the Classic and Heritage wheels are forged aluminum 20x8.
The Boss 302 is a great performer, if I were looking for a dedicated track car at a reasonable price then it would be hard to pass up.
Since I want a car that I actually like as a whole and not just to go fast I stuck with the Challenger and put money into making it track worthy but still civilized on the street. Not to mention I have less money into it than a stock SRT8 of the same year would go for.
Sometimes it's not just about going fast or being quicker. Enjoy your Challenger!

The MB old school or Cragar SS is my first modification. I would think somebody here would be interested in my Envy wheels when I sell them.
