Allocation for 09's

I was noodling on a question. If you already placed your 09 order (BX), does that mean it will be built and allocated to the dealer?

Do we know if the 09's srt's have already been sold out?

Re: Allocation for 09's

Yep, Bx or BA is good means order submitted and accepted and then it will change to anything really day to day so to track it would drive you insane..
Get a vin from your rep or he should call with it about the time the car goes d and d1 thats a really good sign day of delivery isnt far from off figure a month or more or less if all goes well on the line.

09's srt8s are going fast I wouldnt gamble on waiting unless you want to really live dangerously. All the guys who didnt get or wont get an 08 will be online for 09's there is alot of them and that number grows daily Im sure.

Re: Allocation for 09's

Seriously, the numbers of 09 SRTs have to be getting low... Dodge is really pushing the 09 RT and SE's now. I sent away for some Dodge literature on line and just today recieved the 09 brochure and letter outlining the 09 Challys. I actually had all this stuff, but I wanted to see what Dodge would send. Well, little mention was made about the SRT in the Dodge Headquarters letter... They are focusing on the RTs BIG TIME as is the plan.

Hemi Orange is going fast for the SRTs but more importantly, the limited availabilty of SRTs are probably beginning to get low. I'm wondering how many manuals are left - it seems they would be the first to close out. If you're considering the 6.1, give a reputable dealer a call. If you're serious about an 09 in hemi orange or any color, now's the time to order. The 08's will hit the streets any day now (YEAH!!) and once they are seen.....you don't want to be closed out of any opportunities!!

Re: Allocation for 09's

I already ordered 2 (one pistol grip & 1 girl shifter for my wus brother). I was just curious if you are already in bx status if you are basically "assured" an 09.

Re: Allocation for 09's

at this point i would say yes. there are not too many orders out there, yet. now in say 6 months, they may be already into the 2010 model year.

How does one preorder? Is there a website or is it through the Dealership?

Re: Allocation for 09's

I *would* say contact your local dealer, but if you read a handful of threads here you'll soon find out that contacting your local dealer is probably a crappy idea. People report dealers refusing to even set pricing on '09s now (i.e. agree to sticker or X below/above sticker since MSRP isn't known yet) or didn't even realize they could order '09s until they called.

I would advise checking out known reputable dealers regardless if it's out of state like Bob Frederick or SRTpusher here. Chances are you'll have a much better shot. I for one know that the local dealers in my area are a joke.
