And no "I saw it 3 weeks ago!" without PICS!!!

The latest word is that the Challenger will not seen the showrooms until January 2008. Everthing is "top secret" from the Brampton factory. Supposedly, all of the workers are sworn to secrecy and will lose their jobs if they divulge anything.

NDA are taken VERY seriously by major manufacturers. Why do you think that spy shots can be sold for thousands and even tens of thousands of dollars?

i have a feeling that the reason for this lack of news and info is that they dont want to give away anything to the competition. i believe the car is very far along in the steps to becoming a production model and dodge doesnt need to be spending money when the car will be out soon enough. unlike chevy throwing everything they got at the camaro which will be out a lot later than the challenger.

Actually, from what I've heard "spy shots" of production cars are to see what if anything has changed from the "concept vehicle"..cuz usually somethings change such as wheels, wheel sizes, actual colors..blah..blah..

All I care about is the SRT version...I hope it's 500+ hp.

With the Viper getting the bump to 600, they've opened the door to make a 500+ Challenger. (No inter-brand horsepower competition this way).

I would think they'll start releasing more production specific information toward the middle of this year. Start heating up the interest again. I mean, basically they've already announced that it's going to be made. So there isn't really enough "new" information left to spread it evenly between now and January 08. They need to let the interest lull a little bit so they can bring on the media flood closer to the release date.
