I've got just the hitch on my '09, no idea how the wiring harness mounts/looks on the back. You do have to cut a small area out of the bottom of the rear black facia, but it's not noticeable unless you get down low to look. Here's a pic of just the hitch.



I don't tow with it, just use it for a hitch mounted Thule bike rack for hauling my mountain bike around when needed.

Trucks have heavy duty trannys designed for hauling heavy weights. The 6 speed should have no probs towing the boat. Hell I used to pull a Sidewinder Ski boat with a 1979 Lancia Beta coupe. 2L 5 speed.... It trailered it perfectly.
