Re: Anyone else pondering an awd challenger?

I believe that Shelby Super Cars Ultimat Aero holds the current record of 256.19mph besting the bugatti by 3.63 miles an hour. It is the first american car to hold the record since 67. I get your point though. Could you imagine 250 out on the open road. I get a pucker factor of ten up around 160.

Who doesn't have 1.5 million laying around. I'll go check under the couch cushions. I heard the thing has ten radiators. I don't want to really question a car of that caliber but could you not build that much power with half the cylinders and half the turbo's and save weight?

It would be kinda cool. I'm not an old fart, but I know the Hairy Olds. It had two blown 425s in it; one up front, one in back. It's a cool car for sure.

I admit gentlemen that this is before my time and to be honest I have never heard of these. As I'm sure you would understand while Alaska has come around in the recent years as far as cool car saturation, we just don't have some of the barn finds and cool things that are more common in the lower 48.I love that pic. That to me is the ultimate in cool. Were these available to the general public as a street car?

One of a kind I believe. I don't think it was street legal, even in the 60's.

Re: Anyone else pondering an awd challenger?

One thing I can agree on, with the right suspension, could give a Vette all it wanted in cornering situations. How closely could this awd Chally hang with the aforementioned Bugatti? $75 grand vs. 1.5 mil.

I'm disapointed, i only found 1.4 in my couch cushions dammit LOL. Maybe I need to clean the jeep out and see what i can find there. Yeah, i'd definatly say it's possible to get the power, bvut one thing is they Veyron is made for those high speed runs, if I am not mistaken, part of the deal of purchase is that you can take your new Veyron to some top speed track in Germany or Italy and experience the top speed in a safe (well, relative safety LOL) environment. In the latest Car and Driver I saw a picture of a convertible Veyron, didn''t read the article yet though, 250 with no top hmmmmm LOL. Oh, and there is some new edition, can;'tremember the changes or specifics, but it runs 2 million, hell of an options package I guess LOL

That olds is Pretty cool. Reminds of the 90s were the guy combined 2 Eldorados and had AWD, if I remember right, it had 2 northstars and 2 transmissions LOL.

yea if you can get up to about 900 or so hp you could probably take one in the 1/4, but top speed will go to the bugatti. It was made for that

Maybe you can finance that last 100k. Check under the seats in the car too.
