I'd have them add the stripes, but a local dealer here in South Florida has one on the way with the stripe and no read interior. I wonder if once it gets here if i can have them swap out the interior. I've seen the radar red in person and would prefer that

It would be well worth the drive! That car looks fantastic. Those are excellent pix!

Mine has been off loaded from the train, and is sitting in a staging area 90 minutes away where it has been since last Friday. I'm trying to be very patient while I await the phone call telling me it is here and ready for delivery. Hopefully today!

I have a GCM SRT8 on the way, myself, with silver stripes and sun roof.

Ordered 1 Oct 12. Just got the VOTS number. Gonna be a long couple months!

Anyhow, here are the pics of the SRT from the FLA dealer linked above.
the wait will be well worth it and you'll have it just in time for Christmas. Merry Christmas!!!

Thanks, but I got "the call' yesterday afternoon. I'm meeting my salesman at 10:00 this morning for delivery. It's been 5 weeks since the order was placed. Much quicker than I expected. Hopefully it was not damaged on its ride from Detroit through the wind rain and snow of Sandy last week, and I won't have to make them build me another one. Needless to say I'll be looking for evidence of leaks, and paint damage before accepting it.

You asked about seeing the color in person and how it looks. In the sun it has a pewter tint to it, but can look very dark gray or almost brown as well. It is a very dark, deep color with the ability to change tint with the lighting. As stated earlier, I got the silver rally stripes because I like the pop of the contrast. Black ones are harder to see on this color. Although they do look sharp. The profile pic in post #60 on page #6 of this thread is probably the best picture I have seen of this color....particularly the front fender.

I am pretty excited to see it, drive it and feel it under me this morning. I'll post pix later today if I find no problems and take it home.

Took delivery today. OMG what an awesome day. Gonna spend the next day and a half doing the wash, claybar, wash, and 2-3 coats of Zaino treatment if the wind lays down. If not I'll just have fun in it! I'll up load more after the Zaino.
