ATTENTION ! 2008 Challengers coming?

[SIZE=5]ATTENTION[/SIZE] [SIZE=5]:Everyone, I just got a call from a dealer that I've been trying to persuade to sell me a 2008 SRT8 Challenger and he said that on April 4th that he was attending a Ride and Drive event by Dodge where dealers can ride/drive the new Challenger and then drive some of thier alloted cars home to thier respective dealerships. So just a heads up to keep your eyes open at your dealer on or after April4th. Good luck to all! Hope we all get the Challenger we want! Locomotion[/SIZE]

This "info" seems to 'fly in the face' of previously known/made statements by I thought people "more in the know" than these so-called "Dealers & Wheelers" :which I believe was production was/is slated for April 14th. Did this dealer state just where the Drive & Get Aquainted with the All New 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT event will take place ? Also, I find hard to believe that dealers [or their associates] will be allowed to drive "some of their allotments home !!!! Those Challengers will not, repeat , not be NEW in the eyes & minds of most people : certainly not mine !!! In conclusion , Locomotion , I just hope for your sake that you get one of these or a new Challenger SRT because you seem to be bustin' your butt in trying to get one : adding to the fact that you are seemingly a true Moparian !!!

Could be a few allotted ahead of time for dealers to drive themselves and use as display and later sell as demos .
For sure I want mine with less than 50 klics (including mechanic's road test) when I buy , exactly like when I bought new my Mazda 6 .

Maybe they can trailer em home? or the guys who are getting a few the dealership may have a demo car and they can take those back. I wouldn't buy a "new" car with any miles that are unaccounted for by a known driver. When I got my Shelby GT it was new with 136 miles, it was gotten on dealer trade and since I didn't want to wait for it to be shipped, my sales guy/good family friend went and got it. I'll be there when mine gets delivered so I'm in the car with the mechanics check.

Yeah, I'm with you on that 383ply. He says April 4th, but we don't know where. Love to go depending on location.

No snow in Jersey Now or april 4th I wouldnt think but ya never know, thats sort like when are the challengers comming out ya never know!! actually probably a better chance that we'll get a blizzard.
