Re: Best way to learn manual transmission?

Holy crap!!
I bought the wife a new maserati she is going to be test driving it tomorrow God I hope she likes it.
Buying it direct from a dealer in Novi MI Kip sells to mainly celebs etc,I was told Kid Rock will be in there shop Wednesday as well picking up one of his two bullit mustangs I hope she gets to meet him..
Hell I hope she likes the damn car!!!!!!
She wanted a convertible for about 3 years now since I got rid of her aero Saab convertible ,now I'm getting the SRT* I knew I better drum up a car for her as well or I would have hell to pay for months ahead and believe me sleeping with one eye open isn't easy.

I'm waiting for her call tomorrow as she is in Detroit on biz any how and Novi is right there.I made it real easy lets see if she likes it or not..Talkin Ferrari engine and drive train Ferrari bought maserati a few years back so this will be very interesting to say the least.

I'm working on it! I've been helping some friends clean/move into a rent house while theirs gets rebuilt. I'll try and just take the camera out and put it in the cupholder just to get the noise LOL.

Re: Best way to learn manual transmission?

Yea I've been working from 6ish am to dark since Saturday. The only thing keeping me back is the speed traps they set up during the night. There's flat fields on all the roads living my house, you can see the whole way down in the daytime. Probably just rip it open from 0-100ish and a few 0-60 runs for ya!

Re: Best way to learn manual transmission?

lol, i cant understand how ppl have done it before. I have a charger now and constantly use the cruise control... I love setting the cruise control at 100mph... its like riding a rollercosater... When is New York going to get a "autobahn"?

Re: Best way to learn manual transmission?

lol. I cant imagine not having cruise control. Dont get me wrong, there are days like to feel the pedal, and do it myself. But for the most part its on cruise, not to mention i get better mileage that way. do you have the SRT charger? It feels so smooth at 130 and up, its unbelievable. I was surprised when i tested her out. Id drive to NY just for the sake of doing so if we had an autobahn. Id prob set the cruise on 150 or so
