Question Between service Oil Change?

Half way to my first service, think I'd like to change the oil. Do I have to take it to the dealer or can I just go to my mechanic or a drive thru lube place?

I'm taking mine to dealer every time. No fast lube grease monkeys for my Challenger.

Sorry. Should have been more clear.

Does it affect your warranty if you do an oil change from someone other than your dealer?

No should not effect warranty. Just keep all receipts for all work done on car. If you have a good mechanic. He'll enjoy working on the car, but no fast lube places high school kids or dropouts.
