Big News about the competition

In a recent interview with Steve Saleen, he "let it slip" that Ford will be adding 10-15 more hp to the GT500 in 2009. And the bigger news, the new Camaro will have a 450 hp 6.2L as the top engine(which will become the Vette's base engine). I see no problem with this as far as the Challenger goes because I'm sure (hint. hint.), that DCX won't be left in third place in 2009 with anything less than a 525 hp, 392 HEMI lurking under the hood of its top Challenger offering!!!!!!!!

Thats ok if Saleen builds it, you know it will blow up at some point. I cannot think of the last car test where one of his cars did not end up dumping oil on the track or smokeing up the joint.

Steeda is not as well known but builds better stuff. The FHP (FL Hwy Patrol) contracted w/ Steeda, they are HQ just the road from me in Pompano, to outfit 13 new Mustangs , yikes.

The FHP is finishing up their last allotment of Z28's. Hence the switch to the new steeda stangs. They are totally undercover, not even FHP plate. Very hard to spot. I get paranoid when ever a stang is behind me now.
