Question BMW 328i Coupe or DODGE CHALLENGER SRT8?

I'm debating which to purchase. What do you guys think? I'm leaning towards the Dodge right now because it has a 425 horsepower engine. The BMW has a 230 Horsepower engine.

I would like to thank you IN ADVANCE for any input so here is my thank you:

Thank you,
Catman

The BMW will probably have a slightly better interior but the Challenger looks better (arguably) and would absolutely destroy the BMW in a race.

Correct me without hurting my feelings in the event that I was incorrect but doesn't the Bavarian Motor Work have better handling when turning the wheel of steering than the Dodge Challenger SRT8?

I've driven the 335i coupe and it's one amazing car.

The 335 is a fabulous coupe to be sure. Those types of cars will become more and more common with more and more manufacturers going to smaller turbocharged engines.

There quite possibly could be a limited time you can buy a true knuckle-dragging muscle car that makes no pretenses. If you're a metro then go BMW if you're a true white blooded American male then there is only one choice, the Challenger.

Re: BMW 328i Coupe or DODGE CHALLENGER SRT8?

Ok, here is my $0.02 on this matter. Personally, I feel a Challenger is not about Handling the curves, or getting good mileage. Most uf us here have a passion for the car for a multitude of reasons. We are losing sleep deciding between Hemi Orange or Black, between R/T or SRT., Between SE or R/T. Trying to get the most we can afford. If you are deciding between a BMW and a Dodge, you lack the passion for the "Challenger". Just the mere fact that the Challenger is fast car may be good but, the two vehicles do not compare on many levels. Not knowing you personally, simply from your question and how it was presented, You may want the choose BMW. Please elaborate more so we can better assist :-)

Re: BMW 328i Coupe or DODGE CHALLENGER SRT8?

The Challenger handles better than you think it does (the SRT8, anyway). The 328i will handle better, but if you were to race the two in a rally race of some sort, the Challenger would still win because it has so much more power. Let me pull some drag times for both cars.

Edit: Challenger runs low 13's and the BMW runs low 14's. Big difference.
