Breaking Bad News- New Chrysler Ceo/chairman
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen --In my opinion I am very, very displeased to announce that about an hour ago [11:00Pm August 5,2007] I saw the CNN news ticker and confirmed on a couple of sites, that Wolfgang has made the decision[via the Cerebus Board ] to replace Tommy LaSorda with former Home Depot Chairman , Robert Nardelli
: who himself was replaced amid criticism over his pay and Home Depot's slumping stock price at the time !!! I have a very dismal and queasy feeling to put it mildly. Although I may not have all the info , i.e. if Nardelli knows anything about the auto industry and running an established company [ and somewhat teetering ] like Chrysler : I just don't think " he's the Man " !! Now , I'm also getting a bad and "Cutthroat" feeling about Wolf > GANG !!!! I only hope this move doesn't..well, I really don't even want to type the word _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ in this post !!!!!! Here : http://news.uk.msn.com/Article.aspx?...mentid=5813505 ..http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1186...=fpa_whatsnews !!! Damn ; I'm not even sure I can get any rest tonight. I may even get a bucket and keep near me ! Plus , as you'll read , Eric Ridenour, COO ,also has decided to leave Chrysler , after 23 years. I believe he was the one of two who announced in Daytona { July 1 ,2006 } that the Challenger was a GO !!! |

I will wish Wolfgang ' Best Wishes' ; but only if his so-called personal and family reasons for leaving Cerebus [ so abruptly ] is really the truth! Something though is telling me that this is a big lie ! I believe [ and even my brother agrees] that Wolfgang was only brought in for one reason= to demote LaSorda and bring in "pal" Nardelli !! Nardelli has , what $200-300 million. He could have easily given $20-30 million to Wolfgang [ maybe in Deutche Marks] to slide him in ! Ironic that Nardelli didn't want to discuss his compensation package: which in light of his past might just have been the best and upfront thing to do ...unless it's of course quite possibly more than he got from Home depot [ provided Chrysler gets to the projected ' hilltop' !!!.... Also, now with Ridenour gone {who I thought was the CFO instead of COO [I may be wrong] } Nardelli could bring in a CFO ; to his liking : if you know what I mean !! !!!!!Last edited by Ragamuffin : 08-06-2007 at 06:41 PM. |

Yeah and how about this little tidbit : http://wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/tag/cerberus/
P.S. = Wolfgang Bernhard aboard the Tomahawk concept motorcycle at the 2003 auto show in Detroit. (Jeff Kowalsky/Associated Press) .. Awhile back, I kind of liked this picture , but now I seem to smell a mouse ?!?!Last edited by Ragamuffin : 08-09-2007 at 05:18 PM. |

Re: Breaking Bad News- New Chrysler Ceo/chairman
Seems to be some telepathy circulating : ' By contrast, Mr. Nardelli has barely finished his first week as an automobile executive. His appointment has led to a kind of town hall discussion in the industry — in union halls, on Internet message boards { including Challengertalk.com
}and at an industry conference last week in northern Michigan — about who is best equipped to lead the industry out of its current troubles.' http://www.nytimes.com/2007/08/13/bu...syahoo&emc=rss http://www.nytimes.com/2007/08/10/bu...=y&oref=slogin |
