Re: Breaking Bad News- New Chrysler Ceo/chairman

I've been reading much about Bob Nardelli over the past week or so. One story, I believe it was in The Wall Street Journal, said that Nardelli lobbied big-time for the Chrysler job. It also said that he wants to "redeem" himself for the mismanagement job he did over at Home Depot.

There are so many things I'd like to say here, but maybe it's best I don't. Let's just hope Bob can change his stripes. We'll know in about two months.

Good luck Bob.

Great, Chrysler is in their hands less than a week, and Cerberus has strike one against them.

But it's amazing they couldn't find anyone better than him? $5B or so and they hire Nardelli. Strange. They will probably try to fix what daimler could not do, then flip it for $10B or $15B. What they need an experienced passionate entreprenuer with lots of ownership on the line.
