Build'n'Price Available at Dodge.com for '09s

In case you guys weren't following the other thread about this, Chrysler has "kinda" sorta made the build feature available for '09s as of this morning at about 6:00am.

It's not available via the main page build selector, it's kind of hidden.

[1] Go to http://www.dodge.com
[2] Go to "Build My Own" at the top and select the 2008 Challenger
[3] You will see a drop down box with the text "2008 MODEL YEAR" - select "2009 MODEL YEAR" from that box
[4] Boom, build away!

Funny, I got $36,310.

J Package, HID headlights, manual transmission, Electronics Convenience Group, MyGIG, and the engine block heater. Hemi Orange and the 18'' wheels, too.

It stinks, though, that you have to order the leather to get all the good stuff...

Re: Build'n'Price Available at Dodge.com for '09s

I am really torn now. A fully loaded RT cost 39k (yes I added everything) and a fully loaded SRT cost 45k (everything except hood stripes), and the offical Camaro info is going to be released on July 22nd. I know, this is a Mopar/Challenger board, but what can I say, I am a LONG TIME Camaro fan (since I was old enough to know what a Camaro was). Man, I think I am driving my wife nuts, and the bad part is she knows she has to deal with this anxiety for the next 9 months or so! all I can definitely say is I
WILL own one or the other by next summer. will you guys still like me if I get the Camaro?

I'm interested to see what the final production Camaro build looks like myself. Right now the pics I have seen really turn me off. The front and side are bad ass.....but the ass well....it needs a lot of work. The placement of the reverse lights are horrible!

Deep within the specs section on that site you can see that the R/T weighs 100 lbs. less than the SRT and SE 300 pounds less than SRT
