I probably posted the actual details in this or some other thread a few weeks back. So, one dealer might be rounding down and the other one rounding up or all three are just picking numbers somewhere near what actual msrp will be.

those prices don't include provincial tax or gst, but they do include the gas/green tax
actual MSRP for 2008 Challenger SRT8 is now listed listed on Dodge.ca as well as 2009 MSRP....

The dealer said to expect the car at the end of September/ beginning of October.

I can't wait.
I feel the same way man.... srt8 all the way...

Re: Canadian Info

So I have findly accepted the fact that I won't be getting a 2008 srt even though I have had a deposit down since January 08. Yesterday went and ordered 2009 srt.
Here's the breakdown for those interested
2009 srt with 6 speed,performance tires,mygig,sunroof,srt option group 2

$52,820
freight 1300.00
air conditioner tax 100.00
fuel tax 1200.00
administration fee 74.00
omvic fee 5.00
glass etching 299.00
nitro and road hazzard 149.00
pst 4475.00
gst 2797.00
license fee 75.50
Total purchase price $63295.00
Taxes are killing me!
Included in the 52,820 price was a 1000.00 enviromental green fee and then add another fuel tax of 1300.00 and an air conditioner tax of 100.00. Plus pst and gst on those taxes....

Re: Canadian Info

Congrats on your order Rumblebee, what colour you getting? I'm currently in BX waiting for C looks like delivery near end of September. I bought an Orange '09 SRT 6 speed with Option group II. Came in just under 60 large, but you know it's guys like us keeping Canadians working at Brampton and up in the Tar sands! LOL And after paying all those "green" taxes I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say " Tree hugger suck my tailpipe!" LOL

Re: Canadian Info

Was at Mopar Magic, a local show and shine sponsered by Notman Motors our local Dodge dealer, and saw two Srt 8 '08s. One Canadian 500 and the other #493 bought in the States and plated in Ontario! I wonder how the heck this guy did it and how much Moola he saved? I wouldn't of believed it if I hadn't seen it.

I had a feeling some of the canadians would be sneaking the US cars over. Thats a big savings, atleast i would think so.
