These brochures were being handed out at the Toronto car show back in February and I got 2 of them. I have applied at the dodge.ca web site but I have not received anything yet. I am having issues with the letter carrier in my area. So that could be part of the problem. Also a friend of mine at the Brampton plant is trying to get me a challenger keychain.

Hmm now the debate is whether or not 09's are rolling off the line and if people will be driving their 08's by the middle of April.

I had heard a rumour a while back that Chrysler had actually decided not to make any for Canada in 08. At the time it seemed ridiculous but sadly there might be some merit in this.

Has anyone in Canada gotten anything from a dealer other than a promise and a smile? Any VON#'s anything that might actually represent some sign that there are really going to be some 08 Challengers sold in Canada?

Just seems almost embarassing that the car being made here isn't being talked about here. We've been hearing the wait and see for months now. They had previously announced that they'd tell us in Mid Feb but that date is a month past and now they won't even speculate when they'll tell us.

But meanwhile the US is already making a big deal about the '09 reveal of info thats due in less than a week.

I certainly understand different economies and regulations but I am not sure when the last time a major manufacturer was selling a model year in one of our countries (2009) but still weren't even selling the prior year's (2008) in the other. This is just very very odd.

This summer we could be having friends drive up here in their 2009 Challys while we're still waiting to find out if we can order an '08 or what it will cost. [Roll's Eyes]

Well its more than a couple of weeks since that letter and still no news about '08 pricing or anything about order dates for Canada.

Some rumours are that they aren't going to annouce the order process or pricing until the cars are built and about to be delivered. If they do all the US models first then it might be may or June before we find out anything about Canadian availability.

That being the case, its pretty unlikely that they'll be taking orders for the '09s before summer. They could, it just might look really funny to let people order an 09 before they're allowed to order an '08.
