Carbon fiber hood

So, about those neat Carbon fiber stripes on the hood. You know how all the magazines say that’s just a non-painted part of the carbon fiber hood? Well I noticed something at Mopars at the Strip. Those stripes are vinyl decals. Here’s a pic. So I asked one of the attendants. They told me that in fact they where decals but the hood is carbon fiber.

Re: Carbon fiber hood

'CF' is incredibly lightweight! I believe that Ralph Gilles told me that the rear doors only weigh about 7lbs on this one (and we all got a chance to compare the difference between the front and rear doors). Although the front hood, rear decklid, rear doors, etc. are all constructed of 'CF'....the front doors are not.
