Challenger...Camaro...???

So I just had to post about this. Day before yesterday I was at the drive through at McDonald's and the lady taking my cash leans out and takes a nice long look at my car. Then she says " I love your car. What is it?" I reply of course "a challenger." To which she says AND I QUOTE!!! "Oh Really it looks just like a Charger or one of those new camaros." Omg I died lol. I just said nope a Camaro while they come in yellow is a Chevy and the Chargers are 4 doors. Her reply to that... "Oh. Are they very expensive?" So I told her what mine cost and after she barfed she shut up lol. The people I run into I swear!!

Eh, I know the cars but I see the resemblance and it goes beyond 4 wheels and 2 doors! Those cars are more alike than different when you compare them to the rest of the current automotive production. People don't think, though. They just blurt out names they know. Just means that they like the car. Depending on the attitude and interaction, I either educate them or pretend to agree with their BS.

I think it has to do with parenting as well lol. My 4 year old knows the difference between a mustang, Camaro, and challenger and he tells me about it while were driving down the highway!

Yea well the funniest part about it is when I posted about it on Facebook the day that it happened my old next door neighbor who is in her 40s texted me to ask because she really thought all this time that I had my car it was a charger. Wow.

My father in law was staying with us over Xmas. He saw my car for the first time and called it a Charger. He wouldn't even take a good look at it and he claims to be a car guy.

My Challenger has been called a Camaro as much as my Camaro was called a Camaro!

Unknowing people will call cars about anything they can remember...
