A Challenger SRT will be at the dream cruise according to the SRT engineers at a previous SRT chat session. It may have the new production version of the 6.4 Hemi.

Re: Challenger Concept at the Woodward Ave. Dream Cruise

Good afternoon, everyone. I just joined this forum today, and wanted to let anyone who is in the Southern California area know that the '08 Challenger will be at the "Coffee and Cars" show in Irvine, CA this Saturday (August 11th). The show is held in the parking lot between the Ford and Mazda buildings just north of the Spectrum. It is out here for a commercial filming and will be at this show from 7 - 9 a.m.

Re: Challenger Concept at the Woodward Ave. Dream Cruise

Thanks for the welcome! I really am enjoying reading all of the postings. Sorry, I may have the model year of the car incorrect...it is the concept car that will be released next year (not sure if it is going to be called an '08 or '09..can you help me on this?). I have a friend who works for Chrysler and is in their office out here. That is how I learned of it being at this show as he knows I am very interested in this car.

Re: Challenger Concept at the Woodward Ave. Dream Cruise

On Saturday, August 18 Daimler Chrysler will have their display at Northwood Shopping Center, 30943 N. Woodward Ave at the corner of 13 mile. I think this was the same location as last year. It was a big display and took up the entire parking lot. With numerous production cars on hand, the Tomahawk, a Monster truck and my personal favorite; a portable chassis dyno and a line of Mopar muscle cars all waiting their turn to spin the rollers.

If DC has the same display along with the Challenger Concept car this year then I predict they will have one of the busiest displays along the route.
Thanks to everyone for your input. Dream Cruise here I come!

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to check that out and will post up any significant findings.
