Yeah I have GM Card points but I may end up using them on a truck. The Camaro is too hard to see out of, and I'm not a Cadillac guy, the ATS is too techie and upmarket for me.
Have you checked the ATS out in person? That car is sweeeet!

Roost, what is 3 years from now? The 6.2 challenger will be made in 4 months 6/13' Plans could change in an instant though, one never knows.

LMAO with that comment ... a 392 is nothing but a stroked 345 (5.7) Hemi.
Stroke a 370 (6.1) Hemi and you get 426 (Magical) cubic inches plus 590 HP.
With your logic, those 413 and 426 Max Wedge cars don't hold a candle to a Six Pack or 426 Hemi. Whatever happen to the Mopar guys sticking together. I think too many old time GM and Ford Closet People are lurking on this site. Because they cannot get a descent RWD mid-size car with a cute bowtie or a pancake circle (Blue Oval) anymore.
Already a few are starting Core vs. Loaded SRT. A sunroof . NAV and Stereo does not make a car. It's the performance that creates the legend for the myth to exist.

And im not sure what people think this CORE car is going to do. Its not dropping any real wieght, what a hundred pounds or so?? Dont everyone go thinking this is some hardcore, stripped down, track ready SRT now. Its just a low option SRT. My fully optioned SRT was barely $2,000 over this price...

That makes sense. Now if it really is low to mid 30's? Well then they hit a home run.

Yep, but only if the consumer has done his homework and they have cores in stock. Kinda hard to ask 38K for a 2010 SRT8 beside a brand new Core that WILL handle better and have the 392.
Low to mid 30's??? Maybe for a two year old model but not a brand new one. Upper 30's is where they will be priced vs. mid 40's for the regular SRT8.
They'll be priced there initially, and people with zero negotiating skills might pay that....wont be me though.
However by low 30's I meant the places that advertise with all the stacked incentives (false advertising) but these will still be able to be bought from volume dealers for mid 30's within a few months. Look at all the superbees being given away right now.
Also remember, if they can give $8000 discounts on a $19,000 minivan, they sure as hell can deal on an SRT. If they say theres only $1000 in incentives turn around and walk away, all they are giving you is Chryslers incentive money, when they know its their job to add into that to get the sale.
The salesman is paid commission on the gross profit for a reason, thats what you fight over.
