Yeah,good point.Seems like the New Chrysler is jumping their gun .Seems almost like a 'dis' to the three winners &/or Daimler...You know in theory, Just what might have happened to this Challenger if Daimler had not stepped in : aside from the +s & -s ? Those 3 Sweepstakes winners should get 1,2,3; but Nardelli is thinking $$$$$$$ and a real 'sly' { smart } way of getting a lot of free publicity !!!!!!!!!!

I wondered about this as well. I remember going to the dealer and hardly anybody knew about the contest. Finally picked one up from a salesman I knew. How many different cars in total did they "give away". 8 or so?

The "first three" for the upcoming auctions are 2008 SRT models. The ones given away in the Sept. 2006 "Ask Dr. Z" sweepstakes will be 2009 R/T models.

That is correct. The cars from the sweepstakes are 2009 models. I have already contacted the company running the sweepstakes. They said that the recent purchase of Chrysler by Cerberus should not have any effect on my receiving of the car.
