Do you have to tell them the engine is a HEMI or is called a HEMI ? Do they even know of or what a Hemi is or can do ? Or is the rate based on Horse Power ?

when I insured my charger I had to tell the se/sxt, r/t, or srt. so my guess with the bigger engine the higher the insurance.

Re: challenger insurance

Apparently they are aware the '08 is a HEMI version. The quick and dirty generic quote I ran came in at ~ $200... A MONTH ! !

Yep, starting to feel like my high school days all over again!

The premium will demand on the age of the driver and his driving record.

Are you over 30 with a clean record?

Definately over 30 and cetainly not getting any younger...

No tickets or mishaps in probably, ummm... 10 years...

Married, homeowner, continuously insured, very good credit, etc...
