Challenger moved back?

I dropped my Charger off for service this morning, and my salesman said that his rep told him that the Challenger had been pushed back. He had no further details. I also heard this from another source in the car business. Has anyone else heard this? And let's not make this into a salesmen-don't-know-anything thread, OK? That's not the topic.

Re: Challenger moved back?

you should post this over at srtforums.com. that forum has a few real insiders that could answer this. they havent posted anything about it over there yet, so hopefully its a false rumor.

Re: Challenger moved back?

With DCX draging the challenger concept all over the country, Announcing that there going to build the thing at the brampton plant. Debting the 392 hemi and the super stock challenger at SEMA. Everything suggests DCX is going full steam with the challenger.

I tried to confirm this with the "Ask Dr. Z" website.

They just gave the stock answer that "Challenger is a go for 2008..."

I wrote back and said that their answer was unresponsive. They must have robots working at DCX!

Well, I suppose that is better than "Challenger is a go for 2009". Hopefully no news is good news.
