Ditto. Unless the SRT wheels are an option. I don't care for the chrome-clad wheels.

The R/T will not offer the SRT wheels. You'll have 18" aluminum wheels as standard or optional 20" chrome clad.

You know, an R/T, with 380HP and a 6 Speed Manual, costing @ 32 G's, is a pretty attractive Automobile.

Re: Challenger R/T And SXT News

I want a V6 in my Challenger. I hope that they will keep the same hood and front chin spoiler on the V6. I don't care about the rear trunk spoiler though. I wonder what 17" and 18" wheel options they will offer? As far as stripes go, I'm sure the after-market will offer all kinds of decal and stripe kits for the Challenger.

Not to mention, now with the Predator programming available now, it'll give a stock 6.1L a run for the money and most likely beat it.

It is my sincere hope that Chrysler makes a nice assortment of "go fast" & other performance/appearance goodies for the V6 powered cars. Kids like to customize their Rides, and MoPar ignores them at their peril.

On other postings, I've made my feelings felt for a "T/A" Challenger, a lightweight, V6 powered ride with handling superior to the V8 jobs. Chrysler should make Braking & Handling Packages available to those who want to option & mod. Don't make it just a boring slug of a car. I hope the new 4.0 V6 is a performance package. Anybody have the specs on it yet?

Hell, Gas is EXPENSIVE, and we should not punish those who go V6 powered. A well built & tuned V6 can be most entertaining.

I agree. Ford is doing this kind of stuff for their V6 version. At BJ I saw a dual exhaust and handling package option for the V6 stang offered for under 2k. I can't see a T/A version with a six but regardless I would very much like a T/A option in some version.

Thanks! I joined the site awhile back. I haven't posted much, but I visit on a regular basis. With the new Challenger photos, there is much more to talk about.
