Cime by 75 mph or 120 km/h

Hello everybody

Is it possible to remove the chime by my self, when the Dodge Challenger SRT8 2010 reaches 75 mph or 120 km/h?

I live in Switzerland (Europe) and the speed limit here is 120 km/h. So the come would sound mostly, when I´m driving on the Swiss highway.

Thanks a lot for helping me!

Have a nice day!

Mike

wow.. you have your own speed limit warning in Europe. I'm surprised you don't have a speed limiter.. lol

I don't know of the Diablotuner can get rid of that chime or not. Go to their website and ask them.

....wow. A chime at 75 mph? That would get annoying really fast around here.

My 2008 VW Rabbit has a speed warning - but it can be adjusted or turned off thru the Multifunction Display.

I don't think you can turn it off by yourself but if you know someone that has the programmers the dealers use you should be able to turn off the GCC code. Here's why I say that:
Overspeed Warning (Middle East) - The CCN transducer will generate repetitive chimes at a slow rate to indicate that the vehicle speed is over a pre-programmed speed value. The CCN monitors electronic vehicle speed messages received over the CAN data bus. This feature is only enabled on an CCN that has been programmed with a Middle East Gulf Coast Country (GCC) code.

Anyone remember back in the sixties when there was a dial on the spedo? It was self regulating, your own personal warning indicator. Back then electronics weren't as sophisticated and it made a god awful buzz. Most indicators I saw on the lot had it at 120.
