Bologna!!!!!!!!!!

My dealer told me, Scott, drive the **** out of it....drive it like you stole it....that's what he told me for the break-in procedure. So, that's exactly what I did, and I've not had a problem with it for 1500 kms (approx 1000 miles) Not a big deal anyway, if your gonna drive it hard, your gonna break stuff, what do you do then....well, fix it. In the mean time, enjoy the car, drive the **** out of it, and let warranty take care of the rest!!!!

But I still haven't smoked the tires, not one burnout, but I have done a number of 6000rpm shifts, from 1-4, love the torque, what can I say.

mulisha, thats great to hear from a fellow Canadian as my clutch is making a little rattle already and only 200 km's!! My dealer here in BC doesnt know a thing about the car at all in regards to break in etc unless it has to do with the posted 500 km drive slow break in that we all know about. So I should just carry on driving 'normal' for another 300km's and not worry!!

The rattle in the clutch your hearing is absolutely normal. It is a twin disc clutch you need to remember, and has a plate between the clutches and they are in fact noisier, but in order to handle the torque, twin disc is the best way to go. If your in neutral, and you tap the trottle to 2500rpm burst you'll hear and feel the clutches rattling. You don't need to slow break it in. Just take it easy on the clutch by not over heating it before it breaks in. This takes about 500km of stop and go normal driving traffic. After that, smoke those tires till the blow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope this helps.
Scott aka Mulisha 911

My car has been 0 to 200kph atleast 25 times at 6000rmp shifts since I reached the 500km take it easy stage but still driving it a little hard. Not a problem with it, still grabs just as hard and always jerks the car on the final grab...you know what I'm talking about. Remember, don't ride the clutch, let it out, push it in, but don't ride it because thats what causes glazing and thats what wrecks your clutchs. Then again, who cares, it's under warranty. Haahaaa, take care.

Mulisha(Scott), thanks again man. Very relieving to hear that from someone who has some experience. It sounds just like you are saying and as well as I rev it up. I now have 350 km's on it. I must admit, I couldnt hold back tonight, my wife and I were cruisin, it was finally a warm clear evening and a fella in a hot rod pulled up, hit his auto header uncap button and we managed to hit 2 red lights together. I couldnt help myself and off we went, twice. I couldnt bring myself to totally bag it in first, but once into 2nd etc my foot was through the floor. That damn big hot rod was fast, off I went. He was great, we went for coffee right after and he invited me to join the local hot rod club, first one I may ever join. He had a somewhat done up 454 in that thing. He is a old hot rodder and had more trick things in that car than I thought possible. Anyways, there it is, my first ever street competition and it was a blast.... of course we did 'not' exceed the speed limit! (disclaimer...ha, ha, ha)
This is so much fun man.
