Re: Color of the first production Challenger

I believe that dodge debuted the 1970 challenger at the chicago auto show in "Panther Pink"!!!!!

If they come out with FM-3..... I'll get it for sure.

Re: Color of the first production Challenger

B5 Blue (or Electric Blue Pearl Coat, since that's already in their paint bin) FTW!

Of course, probably not... I'm guessing that it will be something flashy. Red or Yellow (Tor Red or Top Banana, since those are back). Of course, with the Plum Crazy and Sublime available on the Charger Daytonas, those are also very possible.

With the whole retro vibe they're pushing, my official guess is Plum Crazy.

Re: Color of the first production Challenger

I just had to add this: Who remembers the interior color Burnt orange? Picture a Burnt orange interior with a Black, Charcoal, or Silver exterior. Right along with Plum Crazy with a white interior, They too would look AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!

Houndstooth Interior
Scroll down to see some pics of the interior (and you'll see a whole bunch of other pics of a sweet Challenger in the process... win/win situation!).

For better reference:
Houndstooth Pattern

Not Challenger related, but Mopar strange interior related, how 'bout the old paisley interior?
1970 Fury - Hemi and Paisley

Not just the interior, but a paisley pattern vinyl top. I would DIE for this car. There was one for sale in the car coral at Mopar Nats several years ago. Relatively cheap, too. (It wasn't a Hemi, just a paisley car like this). Man... if only I'd had some cash then.

The burnt orange interior can look good... but it has to be the right car.
