Re: cost of a new challenger?

and you guys think you have it rough...lol. attn any canadians or manitobans. i have heard rumors, originating form dealers, that for 2008, the number of challengers to see winnipeg lots will be in the single digits. i've heard 7 but i dont know if thats true. i have an uncle on a waiting list and we must have much higher markup here because he was told that for the highest performance model thats going to be available, he'll be paying close to 65K. hope these are both just rumors but for a 2008 chally, the future looks dim in my direction lol. -Rob

Woot! 38K for a SRT8 aint too bad. Of course we will have to wait until 2k9 to get one, but I am happy with the official price.

My very fair U.S. dealer said that nobody in the country will sell for anything less than $20K over for the first 5000 cars. He always gives me good deals on anything I buy, but it will not happen on this first batch. Told me to wait until the next year when manual is available, plus the hype is off. I guess you can't blame 'em too much --- say I had a classic 70 Cuda, and I was offered over blue book, probably would take it. Good old capitalism. Wish you could buy directly from the factory.

Re: cost of a new challenger?

I predict that the price including gas guzzler tax will be $40,095

Re: cost of a new challenger?

As I have previously said, I am waiting until 2009 to buy my SRT.

For those of you who are buying in 2008, it would be great if you could post photos and let the rest of us know your purchase price and your dealer.
