'cuda Concept Vehicle...Possibly 'In The Works'?
I recently posed a question to the ASK Dr. Z.com site about the possibility of production of a 'CUDA version of the Dodge Challenger ; which if done could in my mind ' revive the Plymouth Division / brand within the Chrysler Corporation / DCX ! I have posted my question and the response in the Ask Dr. Z thread here at Challengertalk.com . The response , from the Dr.Z. Senior Staff Rep. was : We are pleased to read of your interest in the Chrysler Cuda concept
vehicle. At this time, DaimlerChrysler has not released any plans that indicate the future production of the Chrysler Cuda. We encourage you to stay in touch with the Chrysler.com website as well as your local Chrysler dealerships for future product updates. Then , 'xs29j8' asked if this was the actual response and wondered : ' Was this the actual response to a question about a possible 'Cuda?!? If so it would seem to confirm a 'Cuda concept exists, something rumored but not yet shown...' Well, part of my reply to XS29J8 was ...Yes, my post was word 4 word .I'd posted my question in another thread,Burningman's I believe !! You know I obviously don't know... I just suspect ,Lisa {the [SIZE=2]Senior Staff Representative Dr.Z's Product Information Team } is possibly a "youngster " and may just be a little confused and/or unknowing about the Plymouth Division and the '70's 'Cuda and called it Chrysler ! If there really are any plans of a ' Chrysler 'Cuda , I can only surmise that it has to have an origin from Mr. Burningman ! I have made a few efforts recently in contacting/providing DCX with Doug's work.Others maybe have as well. So, I am just really wondering.. Is there really a ' Cuda Concept vehicle ? If so, what brand might it be : Chrysler, Dodge or possibly the presently and past Plymouth brand. If Plymouth, this could be and would be one of the best revivals in the auto industry and really could create buzz and profits: as well as other past Chrysler cars...Maybe even a whole new division of DCX in which other past mucscle cars or models are brought back to life ! Possibilities....possibilites >>!!!!!!!!!!!! If so, I hope it has a resemblance of this ... ![]() |

Re: Existance of a 'CUDA Concept Vehicle ... ' Possibilities ' !
I believe the Cuda would double the excitement the Challenger currently enjoys. The old HemiCuda was "the thing" back in it's time, is probably the most valuable of all muscle cars today, so it probably has the name and image to excel tomorrow.
