Re: 'cuda Concept Vehicle...Possibly 'In The Works'?

They are talking like my pic is actualy a concept car..do you guys think that these people manning the Zmails could just be a bunch of dopes?
I'd love it if it was true and they were making one but it seems way to good to be true.

We should test this and send them an email asking about the pontiac cuda and see if they have a clue.

Pondered?

Suppose, just hypothetically and all, that that was the plan all along. Design 'em side by side, show the Challenger to get the crowd excited, then spring the Cuda -- the only thing that could top the Challenger among the faithful -- right before they both go in to production.

NAIAS will be very interesting.

Well, Doug ,that did kind of cross my mind . Also, I'm also thinking that if they have started plans for a 'Cuda & if any part was derived from your work, then I hope they'd have the decency to give you some sort of compensation or else they could be in for some $ $infringement$ $ infringement ! {Some years ago I wrote one of the ViperTeam, with suggestions pertaining to 'Magnums" and low and behold within a few years ironically all the Magnum engines appear !} Then another part of me says that if in fact you are working for DCX on the 'CUDA PROJECT ,then most likely you would be bound by ultimate secrecy not to divulge any...and I mean any hint of this Stealth goings on !! !! !!! !

Re: 'cuda Concept Vehicle...Possibly 'In The Works'?

still can't figure out why they insist on calling it the chrysler cuda concept!!! in the 70's plymouth was known for it's racing and the hemi's, if they're going retro they should stay true to it roots...that is why so many where displeased with the Charger!!!!! ..."I see the nameplate, but that ain't a Charger".... Coronet maybe! Charger no. plymouth baracuda??????

well, like doug said, it might have been someone who had no idea what they were talking about that replied... i doubt that dr. z would give out info on a cuda out of the blue like that, WHEN it happens, it will definitely show up at an autoshow, not an automated website

Well, yes, precisely what Doug said; and I said in Post #1 ! I'm thinking now that like you, certainly Doc Z himself would not mention 'Cuda if 'Cuda was still Classified and under " protective wraps " : remember he's a Doctor ! !!Also, Doc Z certainly knows enough Chrysler history to not call it a Chrysler 'Cuda instead of a Plymouth 'Cuda ! Man, just hearing that name brings back decades of memories .... a Plymouth Barracuda .... a 1970 Dodge Challenger.....are they really going to produce that ? ?????????? Also, I'm wondering if ask Dr. Z is really a sophisticated non-human entity with people's names and titles on communication /emails to give the illusion of being real humans ? ?????
