'Cuda Photoshop Fun from Autoblog

This is for all you psycho's and your misplaced desire to see a 'Cuda re-awakening. Its got some pretty interesting design shots for the Cuda.
From autoblog....
Photoshop fun: Plymouth Chrysler Barracuda concept

"When Chrysler trotted out the 'Cuda concept this past November at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, our first thought, after wanting to give it our lunch money, was that it might be one of the few examples in recent memory where Chrysler's badge engineering boffins couldn't drop the ball. A Photoshop wizard from Sao Paulo, Brazil by the name of Rafael Reston figured that Chrysler wasn't working fast enough (if at all) and decided to mock up his own interpretation of a Barracuda revival. While we're not entirely sold on the styling cues he chose, which straddle the line between concept car gauche and an art student's waste basket, we still like the idea. But it's highly doubtful that Chrysler has the time or resources to pour into a low-volume seller that has the possibility of cannibalizing sales from the Challenger."

Personally, I think the only way you'll see new Cudas is if someone offers a Cuda aftermarket modification package for the new Challenger. Its just not feasible for Chrysler to resurrect it, especially with the new CAFE standards n stuff.

Re: 'Cuda Photoshop Fun from Autoblog

If you're a fan of the 1971 Hemi Cuda, keep an eye out for our Cuda re-creation this summer. We'll also be offering a "Cuda Package" for those who want the "Cuda look" but prefer to do their own overall customizing. The package will include 71 Cuda Fenders, 71 Cuda Grill, Flat Hood, Shaker kit, Vinyl billboards. We are also working on 71 Cuda tail lights.

Re: 'Cuda Photoshop Fun from Autoblog

I'd be happier with my design..that rear fender needs to be redone. But the kit is a step i the right direction.

Re: 'Cuda Photoshop Fun from Autoblog

I love Burningman's design. And that would not be hard to do if Chrysler decided to do it. Just a new hood, fenders, and tail lights. Maybe a different wheel and some Chrysler-specific colors to further differentiate the Cuda from the Challenger. Come on boys, get to crankin'!
